What is a Camera?
Camera is use to capture an image. It is similar to the retina system in our human eye. Images fall on the sensor of the camera and are read out and transfer to the PCs for image processing. Basically, all the cameras use in the machine vision application is digital camera.

Camera can be classified under 2 categories – Area scan and Line scan. Under each classification, there are different types of cameras in features and technical specification and are use for different application requirement in the manufacturing industry.
